Veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe popularly known as Maame Dokono has revealed that she has counseled and guided many prominent people in the country. She disclosed on Happy FM that it has always been her passion to help people and alleviate them from their sufferings.

According to Maame Dokono, she has been of great help to Ex-Blackstars of Ghana’s captain Asamoah Gyan and renowned musician Shatta Wale as they were building their career. She stated that not only these two people that she has helped but has shaped the lives of many people who are now in the medical and corporate Fields.

Even though she did not go into details the exact help she offered Asamoah Gyan but Shatta Wale’s own is quite known.
“I helped a lot of people in this countryAsamoah Gyan and Shatta Wale are two of the people I helped. Shatta Wale passed through my hands at some stage. Some of the people I helped are bankers and doctors, amongst others I did that because I don’t want to see people suffer,” She disclosed.

However, it is widely known that Grace Omaboe stated in a past interview with TV3 that she offered Shatta Wale a role in the popular TV series, “By the Fireside,” where she gave Shatta Wale an opportunity to be a gong-gong beater. This, according to her, catapulted Shatta Wale to the public scene at the time.
