Ghanaian talented rapper Kwaw Kese has continued in his quest to be regarded as one of the best rappers in Ghana. Kwaw Kese was recently involved in Sarkodie’s “Brag” Saga after Kwaw Kese criticized Sarkodie for disrespecting Ghanaian rappers.
Netizens dragged Kwaw Kese for not being a rapper, as he claims, but rather a common artist in the music industry who has just started ranting about rap. Kwaw Kese targeted Sarkodie in his “Brag” song and has been noticed to have deviated from the ongoing international feud between Ghana and some countries, notably Nigeria.
Kwaw Kese has been loud in his statements and has tried to prove to his critics that he achieved more before Sarkodie came to the limelight and that he should be respected as deserved.
However, many Ghanaians have still failed to accept Kwaw Kese’s claims and still consider him to come nowhere near Sarkodie in rap.
In a post shared on his X handle spotted by Ghanasongs, Kwaw Kese showered praises on himself about how he won five awards at one night at the 2008 Ghana Music Awards.
“Today, make me #Brag some to the indomie generation. I’m the first rapper to win 5 awards in a night at GMA’s 2008.
The tuxedo I wore for that night and my shoes cost 6,000 USD .
I smoked half a Kilo of Hohoe kush with my team for the night. You can tell from my eyes and mouth,” Kwaw Kese posted.
His post has been regarded as an initiator of beef between him and Sarkodie following the “Brag” song.
