Even When I Become An MP, I Will Still Be In Showbiz – A Plus Discloses

Kwame A Plus, born Kwame Asare Obeng, intends to run as an independent candidate to be a Member of Parliament for the people of Gomoa Central for the 2024 election. The former musician, who is now an entertainment pundit, has disclosed that he will never quit Showbiz if voted into parliament. A plus has already stated that Ghanaians are now tired of the NPP and the NDC as the only political parties to govern the country, and thus trying new faces would do the majority of the work.

In an interview with KSM, A Plus indicated that being a Member of Parliament would not force him to quit as a panelist on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’ but that he would rather double his work.

“You don’t have to move. You can be in and still be in Parliament. I will still be on TV on United Showbiz and doing my entertainment business. Right now, the campaign is in my blood,” A Plus indicated.

He also stated that many Ghanaians are pushing for a change in the NDC and the NPP and need people who can bring development to them.

“Ghanaians are now looking for someone who can bring development. I think that it has been there, but people have not taken the time to experience it or to take advantage of the current situation. If you go into any community, people will tell you they are tired of the NPP and NDC. They are not going in for just anybody because they don’t want to be fooled three times,” A Plus added.
